AK 4:7 Almighty Kingdom Weapons Part 1

For the weapons
of our warfare
are not carnal
but mighty through
GOD
to the pulling down
of strongholds
and casting down imaginations
and
EVERY HIGH THING
that exalts itself
against
the Knowledge of
GOD.

_________!________

Most well read Christians can rehearse this verse in their sleep. Especially if they have encountered any kind of suppression or depression and have learned to live above the fray. There's lots of talk right now about weapons. Security, access, risk, and being vulnerable have also come up. People in general have a desire to feel safe before they have a desire to feel productive. We want to live in neighborhoods where we don't have to look over our shoulder or walk backwards into our homes. If we are going to really experience safety, true safety comes in the presence of the Lord. And in the presence of the Lord he provides weapons for us. This is where I found my weapons training. In prayer and through the Word of God.

In 2007, God and I had a little 'come to Jesus' session on spiritual warfare. I'll share some of those verses and the lessons I learned. God gave me the phrase : AK 4:7 (Almighty Kingdom Weapons).

You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master."- Genesis 4:7

Principle #1- Sin is always present. You don't have to open the door to it. The way sin is subdued is through God's righteousness not our own.

Now put your hand back into your cloak," the LORD said. So Moses put his hand back in, and when he took it out again, it was as healthy as the rest of his body.- Exodus 4:7

Principle #2- Signs and wonders establish God as the sender of the message. True Signs and wonders are NOT for the filling of pockets but to open the door to deliver a message from the Lord.

The priest will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar for fragrant incense that stands in the LORD's presence inside the Tabernacle. He will pour out the rest of the bull's blood at the base of the altar for burnt offerings at the entrance of the Tabernacle.- Leviticus 4:7

Principle #3 Every minister of God preaches the Blood of Christ as the power behind our freedom from Sin. False Gospels will Always discount the Blood of Jesus and the atonement for sin.

And on the table of the presence they spread a garment of blue, and have put on it the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and the cups of the libation, and the bread of continuity is on it, Numbers 4:7

The Kohathites (Priests) were to carry the holy things of the tabernacle. All the holy things were to be covered; not only for security and respect, but to keep them from being seen. This not only marked the reverence due to holy things, but the mystery of the things signified by those types, and the darkness of the dispensation. But now, through Christ, the case is altered, and we are encouraged to come boldly to the throne of grace.

Principle #4 Holy things should be carried by Holy People. When holy things are given to those who have not chosen to be holy, disrespect is bound to occur.

For what great nation has a god as near to them as the LORD our God is near to us whenever we call on him?- Deuteronomy 4:7

Principle #5- The nearness of God and his attention to our voice and response to our prayers is a WEAPON in itself.

"...to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 7 tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”- Joshua 4:6-7

Principle #6 REHEARSE your testimony to your Children. Never stop telling your children how you came to know the Lord, trust the Lord, and see the Lord working in your life. Many children don't believe the Lord because they never heard what their own parents had to say about God. You are your child's first minister.

6 And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

7 And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.

8 And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.- Judges 4:7

Principle#7- Women & Men teaming together for the Victory is always an underestimated plan.

We will continue with part 2
