The Murdering Spirit: Cain

A Word from our Guest Blogger, Pearlie Foster

When you think of murder, you think of guns, knives and other acts of violence. However, there are many ways to kill, and that is the spirit of the assassin is loosed in the body of Christ.
The spirit of Murder rose up in Cain, and he killed his brother Abel.  (Genesis4:8). Instead of being our brother’s keeper, we are killing them with our tongue. (Proverbs 28:21). Death and life is in the power of the tongue.  (James3:8), But the tongue no man can tame. Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter? (James 3:10). The answer is no!

The enemy is using tongues in the body of Christ, to assassinate and annihilate the body of Christ.  Through gossip, lying, back biting, and speaking word curses. It is time to abolish that spirit, and love ye one another as the Father commanded. Believers, let us not miss the opportunity to gather rather than divide at harvest time like Cain did. It is now time to rise and work together, offer God our best together, and gather the end time harvest of souls!

If the Saints Would Just...

I kept hearing this phrase tonight sitting before the Lord. "If the Saints would Just..." It was as if God's Spirit was taking a very LONNNNNNNNG sigh. Finally, He began to complete his statement. Here goes:

If the Saints would just
Stop backbiting
Love
Trust
Show Compassion
Confess
Care
Get involved
Stop eyeing one another in jealousy
Stop setting each other up for failure
Keep their word
Not lie to each other
Not brush off soul numbing sin
Pray for each other
Let the Word lift them
Connect with the Spirit of God in each other
They WILL SEE
Healing
Deliverance
Abundance of Peace
Solutions to World issues
Revival
Great salvation

So, the ball is in our court. Is this the generation that's going to see it? Or will it be the generation to come?
