AK 4:7 Almighty Kingdom Weapons Part 2

" A Bible that is falling apart reveals a life that isn't."

I am not sure who coined this quote, but it speaks powerfully every time I consider its ramifications. We continue with part 2 of this mini-teaching of God's Weapons in Warfare. If you missed Part 1 click here : http://outrageouschurch.blogspot.com/2013/09/ak-47-almighty-kingdom-weapons-part-1.html

Let us continue!

7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.- Ruth 4:7

Principle #8- Christ, Our Kinsman redeemer will not forcibly redeem you. You must give him LEGAL right to redeem you (buy you back). You must be willing to take of your shoe (worldly connection) and hand it over to Him.

7 And the Philistines were afraid , for they said , God is come into the camp. And they said , Woe unto us! for there hath not been such a thing heretofore . 8 Woe unto us! who shall deliver us out of the hand of these mighty Gods? these are the Gods that smote the Egyptians with all the plagues in the wilderness. 9 Be strong , and quit yourselves like men, O ye Philistines, that ye be not servants unto the Hebrews, as they have been to you: quit yourselves like men, and fight . 10 And the Philistines fought , and Israel was smitten , and they fled every man into his tent: and there was a very great slaughter; for there fell of Israel thirty thousand footmen. 11 And the ark of God was taken ; and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were slain- 1 Samuel 4

Principle #9- You cannot bring a form (a cry of war) to back you in warfare. You must bring GOD to the battle. Let your war cry be the result of a lifestyle of Godliness.

5 And the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, Rechab and Baanah, went , and came about the heat of the day to the house of Ishbosheth, who lay on a bed at noon. 6 And they came thither into the midst of the house, as though they would have fetched wheat; and they smote him under the fifth rib: and Rechab and Baanah his brother escaped . 7 For when they came into the house, he lay on his bed in his bedchamber , and they smote him, and slew him, and beheaded him, and took his head, and gat them away through the plain all night. 8 And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy , which sought thy life; and the LORD hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed. 9 And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said unto them, As the LORD liveth, who hath redeemed my soul out of all adversity, 10 When one told me, saying , Behold, Saul is dead , thinking to have brought good tidings , I took hold of him, and slew him in Ziklag, who thought that I would have given him a reward for his tidings: 11 How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house upon his bed? shall I not therefore now require his blood of your hand, and take you away from the earth? 12 And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.- 2 Samuel 4

Principle #10 Be Vigilant! Though righteous, you cannot let your guard down. Be alert for those disguising their plots as "work"

7 And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israel, which provided victuals for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision . 1 Kings 4

Principle #11 Learn the strength of Teams. Teams work best when there is proper division of responsibilities and provision.

5 Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say , Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry , gather together , and say , Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities. 6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire , stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction. 7 The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way ; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste , without an inhabitant . 8 For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl : for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us. 9 And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish , and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished , and the prophets shall wonder .  Jeremiah 4

Principle #12 The enemy acts as a roaring lion. He can only devour those who are in disobedience to God.

7 Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered , and thou shalt prophesy against it Ezekiel 4:7

Principle #13 You must enact what God says not what you want. Prophecy speaks to what God says not what man feels.

7 Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers : and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof. Daniel 4:7

Principle #14 The occult CANNOT give accurate interpretation of the end times. You Must seek the GOD of DREAMS, the HOLY ONE of Israel.

7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. Hosea 4:7

Principle #15 The fastest way to shame is to SIN while God is INCREASING YOU. Honor can turn to disgrace.

7 And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered . 8 So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied : yet have ye NOT returned unto me, saith the LORD. 9 I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased , the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye NOT returned unto me, saith the LORD. Amos 4

Principle #16 Any lack is an indicator that God wants your FULL attention turned towards HIM as SUPPLIER, SUSTAINER, FILLER, ALL & ALL.

7 But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered  Jonah 4:7

Principle #17 God appoints for HIS purposes above our pleasures.

7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.- Micah 4:7
Principle #18 Leaders found nations. God MAKES them into something STRONG when HE is at the HEAD.

6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying , This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying , Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. 7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it. Zephaniah 4

Principle #19 It is the Grace of God that crumbles mountains of difficulty. By God's Spirit, the Victory Comes. When we cry, GRACE, rather than Hate, the mountains FALL and the Hills melt like wax!

I love what Matthew Henry had to say:
Christ is our Zerubbabel; mountains of difficulty were in the way of his undertaking, but nothing is too hard for him. What comes from the grace of God, may, in faith, be committed to the grace of God, for he will not forsake the work of his own hands.

AK 4:7 Almighty Kingdom Weapons Part 1

For the weapons
of our warfare
are not carnal
but mighty through
GOD
to the pulling down
of strongholds
and casting down imaginations
and
EVERY HIGH THING
that exalts itself
against
the Knowledge of
GOD.

_________!________

Most well read Christians can rehearse this verse in their sleep. Especially if they have encountered any kind of suppression or depression and have learned to live above the fray. There's lots of talk right now about weapons. Security, access, risk, and being vulnerable have also come up. People in general have a desire to feel safe before they have a desire to feel productive. We want to live in neighborhoods where we don't have to look over our shoulder or walk backwards into our homes. If we are going to really experience safety, true safety comes in the presence of the Lord. And in the presence of the Lord he provides weapons for us. This is where I found my weapons training. In prayer and through the Word of God.

In 2007, God and I had a little 'come to Jesus' session on spiritual warfare. I'll share some of those verses and the lessons I learned. God gave me the phrase : AK 4:7 (Almighty Kingdom Weapons).

You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master."- Genesis 4:7

Principle #1- Sin is always present. You don't have to open the door to it. The way sin is subdued is through God's righteousness not our own.

Now put your hand back into your cloak," the LORD said. So Moses put his hand back in, and when he took it out again, it was as healthy as the rest of his body.- Exodus 4:7

Principle #2- Signs and wonders establish God as the sender of the message. True Signs and wonders are NOT for the filling of pockets but to open the door to deliver a message from the Lord.

The priest will then put some of the blood on the horns of the altar for fragrant incense that stands in the LORD's presence inside the Tabernacle. He will pour out the rest of the bull's blood at the base of the altar for burnt offerings at the entrance of the Tabernacle.- Leviticus 4:7

Principle #3 Every minister of God preaches the Blood of Christ as the power behind our freedom from Sin. False Gospels will Always discount the Blood of Jesus and the atonement for sin.

And on the table of the presence they spread a garment of blue, and have put on it the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and the cups of the libation, and the bread of continuity is on it, Numbers 4:7

The Kohathites (Priests) were to carry the holy things of the tabernacle. All the holy things were to be covered; not only for security and respect, but to keep them from being seen. This not only marked the reverence due to holy things, but the mystery of the things signified by those types, and the darkness of the dispensation. But now, through Christ, the case is altered, and we are encouraged to come boldly to the throne of grace.

Principle #4 Holy things should be carried by Holy People. When holy things are given to those who have not chosen to be holy, disrespect is bound to occur.

For what great nation has a god as near to them as the LORD our God is near to us whenever we call on him?- Deuteronomy 4:7

Principle #5- The nearness of God and his attention to our voice and response to our prayers is a WEAPON in itself.

"...to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 7 tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”- Joshua 4:6-7

Principle #6 REHEARSE your testimony to your Children. Never stop telling your children how you came to know the Lord, trust the Lord, and see the Lord working in your life. Many children don't believe the Lord because they never heard what their own parents had to say about God. You are your child's first minister.

6 And she sent and called Barak the son of Abinoam out of Kedeshnaphtali, and said unto him, Hath not the Lord God of Israel commanded, saying, Go and draw toward mount Tabor, and take with thee ten thousand men of the children of Naphtali and of the children of Zebulun?

7 And I will draw unto thee to the river Kishon Sisera, the captain of Jabin's army, with his chariots and his multitude; and I will deliver him into thine hand.

8 And Barak said unto her, If thou wilt go with me, then I will go: but if thou wilt not go with me, then I will not go.- Judges 4:7

Principle#7- Women & Men teaming together for the Victory is always an underestimated plan.
